The Four Fs

“The Four Fs” is a short documentary film that examines the primordial desires, fears, and needs among gay men in the US. Using a framework that evolutionary psychologists believe are the primordial motivations necessary for survival – fighting, fleeing, feeding, and sex – the film presents intimate conversations edited into a highly-stylized mosaic of voices and experiences that represent a range of races, ethnicities, and ages.

The film is expected to be completed in December 2023, and will screen at domestic and international film festivals. The producers will seek other distribution on platforms that stream or exhibit short documentary films.
